Guide: At the beginning of 2015, after being approved by Xi’an Science & Technology Administration and Xi’an Finance Bureau, our company has formally finished the project establishment of “Xi’an Oil & Gas Drilling Waste Management Engineering Technology Research Center”, laying a solid foundation for KOSUN to carry out the “Zero Discharge” plan in drilling waste management market in China.

At the beginning of 2015, KOSUN has further strengthened its talents team building, and has successfully established the “Xi’an Oil & Gas Drilling Waste Management Engineering Technology Research Center” (hereinafter referred to as “Research Center”). This Research Center is the only government-approved municipal engineering technology research center of drilling waste management technology in Shaanxi at present, devoting itself to popularizing drilling waste management technology nationwide, vigorously promoting the “Zero Discharge” implementation plan, and helping major oil companies to fulfill “Zero Discharge” environmental requirements.

As early as in 2011, KOSUN stepped into specific techniques of drilling waste management. In 2014, as the “Little Technology Giant” elected by Xi’an Science & Technology Administration, KOSUN formally began to establish “Xi’an Oil & Gas Drilling Waste Management Engineering Technology Research Center”. According to the requirements of Xi’an Science & Technology Administration Document (SKF [2014] No. 46) “Notice on Establishment of 46 Municipal Engineering Technology Research Centers (Such as Xi’an Optical Storage Engineering Technology Research Center, etc.) by Xi’an Science & Technology Administration”, KOUSN has reported the construction scheme, improved the comprehensive supporting research conditions and strengthened the talents team building. As the little giant, KOSUN will provide a variety of comprehensive technical services for the oil and gas drilling industry, and offer a powerful guarantee in enhancing the core competitiveness of our city.
